  • Started off with a review of the previous month.
  • Introduction to the concept of money and various currencies.
  • Visited Semmozhi Poonga and Srishti tried photography with D-SLR.


  • Chennai Coin Fair
  • Kreeda workshop - Played various traditional games and first meetup with The Chennai Homeschoolers.
  • Philately Workshop and visit to the Anna Road GPO
  • Squaring using the DIY squaring board
  • Completed the map game and the content for Map of Ramayana.
  • Worked on sentence analysis and noun classification.
  • Discussed about Child Sexual Safety and Child Sexual Abuse
  • Srishti learnt to bake spinach corn cheese tart and chocolate chip cookies.

  • Srishti joined Math Art and Origami classes
  • Got subscription at Murugan Lending Library. Books read this month includes:
    • Harry Potter
    • Noddy
    • Tiny tot - Akbar & Birbal tales
    • Ramayana by Kamala Subramanian
  • Reading the book "The hidden life of trees"
  • Ainthinai - Planted few saplings
  • Wall mural painting at KTP
  • Visited Birla planetarium to view Mars (closest point to Earth). Also viewed Venus, Saturn and Jupiter (with 4 moons) from a telescope.
  • Volunteered in Free the Tree Campaign organized by KTP as part of Junior Yuva.
  • Created a poster for Free the Tree Campaign
